Scott Bowman

Scott is preparing for his 7th Japanese winter, having lived between Japan and Australia for the past 4 years Scott feels at home in the Japanese backcountry.

Having always enjoyed and studied the alpine backcountry he finds snowmobiles the key to unlocking Nisekos secrets. Scott has skied extensively over Japan, New Zealand and Australia.

Scott currently holds the N.Z.M.S.C level 1 in professional Avalanche management and has just completed his Leaders wilderness first aid. Scott is also an affiliate member of the C.A.A.

Nick Gutry

Living and skiing locally since 1999 nick has covered most of Niseko and Hokkaidos mountain ranges.

He started snowmobiling in 1989, spending time in the USA, Canada and Antarctica. Nick spends the summers teaching advanced wilderness first aid and backcountry safety.

Byron Thimer

This is Byrons first season with N.S.A. Having grown up riding snowmobiles in Canada we look forward to having him with us. This is Byron's first trip to Japan so I sure hope he knows what he's in for.
